2D Map of Vancouver Island

This two-dimensional map traces the entire outline of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Nuu-chah-nulth, Coast Salish and Kwakwaka’wakw peoples have stewarded this island and its surrounding waters since time immemorial.

The map was cut into golden PureBond Maple Plywood. This gorgeous, high quality material is often used in LEED-certified green buildings. It is FSC-certified with a silky finish and contains none of the toxic formaldehyde glues commonly used in plywood.
