Vancouver Island Inlay Boardroom Table

A topographical map of maple inlaid into reclaimed old-growth fir.

For this table, a 3D topographical map of Vancouver Island and surrounding islands was carved in maple and meticulously inlaid into a sea of reclaimed old-growth Douglas fir. The fir was reclaimed from the deconstruction of the old historical Oak Bay High School building in Oak Bay, B.C.

This glass top table was custom built for Ryzuk Geotechnical, a Victoria B.C. company whose founders wanted something very special to feature in their boardroom.

This was such an amazing job. Thank you again for such a stunning boardroom table. It is now not just a table, but a conversation topic!
